NERVOUS SYSTEMS INDEN/KOLN, GERMANY
A house in Inden, Germany which was to be removed due to an encroaching coal mine, was demolished and loaded into metal wire containers called gitter boxes. The crushed house, was trucked to Koln and installed at the Eigelstein Plaza, a site chosen for its juxtaposition of  1950s architectual surroundings, the ruins of a 13th C. Roman gate and a spireless 16th C, church which had been bombed during WW11
